Phishing, Vishing, and Other Cell Phone Scams

You can use your cell phone for many things, but it can also be a target. Scammers use a variety of methods to try to steal your personal or financial information: fake websites in which they spoof a trusted logo of a legitimate company (phishing), schemes where they pretend to be a family member or friend on the phone (vishing), or a combination of text messages and phishing (smishing).
