Use this checklist to keep track of what you need to update if you have a new address, your personal information has changed since the last election, or you've never voted before: Mailing address: You can fill out a form online or go to your local post office. Driver's license: Go to your nearest Department of Motor Vehicles or mail the information to get a paper update. Voter Registration: Your polling place may have changed, even if you moved within the same town.
