These sites allow visitors to build a greater national preservation ethic while sharing our nation's rich heritage. Celebrate National Historic Preservation Month with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation's (ACHP) photo contest! Participate by: Taking a picture of a historic place, like a significant site in your town or a beautiful building, monument, or estate you've come across. Tagging @USACHP and @NationalRegisterNPS on Facebook, or @NPSCLP on Instagram, or @NPSParkCLP, and @savingplaces on Twitter. Adding a brief caption in the post that includes the name and location of the historic place, as well as the hashtag #MyHistoricPlace One winner will be picked weekly and announced each Tuesday in May on the ACHP's social media sites. Winners will receive a fabulous historic preservation prize package!
