Watch Out for Imposter Scams

Scammers use a variety of tricks to get you to send them money or give up your personal information. You may get a call from someone who says they're from the IRS and claims that you owe back taxes. They may even threaten to sue, arrest, or deport you if you don't pay right away. But it's not really the IRS calling—it's a scam.
